Subject: Trash in the hallways...

4 South Residents:

If you have not noticed, this morning (Saturday), the hall was a complete mess by the action of one or more individuals who thought it might be funny to tear down the bulletin boards and then proceed to rip up the pieces of paper into tiny bits and scatter them throughout the hall.

Maintenance most likely will charge the entire floor for the cleanup of this mess. This means that each one of you will be charged for the actions of just one or a few people, because nobody knows who did it. If anybody has any information as to who actually did it, it would be nice to know. If someone steps up and takes the blame, that would be great. But to make everybody pay, for what someone thought was a quick 5-second laugh is pretty stupid.

At the beginning of the year, we set up community standards for the floor that all of you made and agreed upon. One of those was be respectful to both individuals and the floor as a whole. Please keep these standards in mind, and if you feel they are too harsh or should be changed, please let me know.

Thanks a lot,

Shawn Brandenburg
